Ginger Williams Cook is leading a watercolor workshop on Saturday, April 8, from 10:00am-3:30pm, hosted by Tammy Oliver Cook of Ice Tree Arts in Flora, Mississippi. The studio is located minutes away from the charming Town of Livingston, and tucked away in a quiet country setting.
Arrive at 9:30 am for a cup of coffee and some conversation on the front porch before the morning session begins. The workshop will focus on a variety of watercolor techniques including color mixing + color theory, understanding different types of watercolor paper, and an experimental approach that encourages confidence of materials and the creative process.
We will take a break for lunch around noon and travel to The County Seat, a farm to table restaurant, located in the Town of Livingston. After dining in town, we will return to the studio for the afternoon session and wind down around 3:30.
Beginners are welcome and all art materials are provided. Lunch will be purchased on your own. Directions and details will be emailed after registration.
